ROBERT GODWIN  –  RESEARCH AND MEDIA

Robert is the owner and founder of Apogee Space Books. He’s also the Former Space Curator at the Canadian Air & Space Museum, and has written or edited over 100 books including the award-winning series “The NASA Mission Reports”.

Robert has appeared on dozens of radio and television programs in Canada, the USA and England as an expert on the exploration of space. As the founder and owner of several other companies, he’s also an expert on pop culture, music and copyright. His books have been discussed on CNN, the CBC, the BBC and CBS 60 Minutes, and he has consulted on major productions for Discovery Channel and MTV.

He produced the first ever virtual reality panoramas of the Apollo lunar surface photography and the first multi-camera angle movie of the Apollo 11 moonwalk.

The Main Belt asteroid “4252 Godwin” was officially named after him by the International Astronomical Union for his contributions to space history.
